SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

Art Direct collects information from users at different points on its site. We do not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. The Art Direct site may contain links to other sites. Art Direct is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of Websites that link to or from Art Direct.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

SECTION 2 - CONSENT

In order to use some of our services, users must register on our Site. Registration may require users to supply their contact information (e.g., name and address) and financial information (e.g., credit card number).

We use this customer contact information to send information to our registered users about the services for which they have subscribed. SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE

We do not give out, sell or rent registered user address, credit or debit card information except where needed to deliver a product or service that a registered user has ordered or to comply with valid legal process. We may occasionally share aggregated user demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify an individual person.

We use an independent shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. Payment: If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We send registered users emails at certain times. We also send Site and Service announcement updates that contain important information about the services on our Website. We may communicate with users via telephone or email to provide them with services they have requested or to follow-up on issues relating to their account.

We do not sell, rent or otherwise provide our registered users email addresses to third parties. However we occasionally send emails to our registered users informing them of our new products, services, or special auctions. Users who do not wish to receive this correspondence should contact us specifying their request along with their username, name, and address.

SECTION 6 - SECURITY

Art Direct has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Art Direct takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card numbers), that information is encrypted and is protected with SSL encryption software.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also take precautions to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices.
